We gave up on attending the Tüyap World Food Istanbul Fair at the last minute, where we announced that we would attend with nearly a hundred companies that received Halal and Tayyib certification from GIMDES.
The fact that they attempted to impose an interest clause in a contract text in a way that would offend the concept of HALALNESS, which is the feature that distinguishes our group from other groups, was the reason for us to take this decision. We declare to the public that we will not cooperate with this institution unless they change their understanding.
