The program, attended by GIMDES Chief Auditor, Chemist Timuçin GÜNESEN, with the invitation of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Halal and Healthy Life Club and GİMDES Volunteer representatives, took place in the conference hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Mr. Timuçin GÜNESEN explained the importance of Halal Food to the students in the light of verses and hadiths and talked about the critical points and risks of haram in additives and foods. In the seminar, Lecturer Mesut KAPLAN talked about the importance of Halal Food and Food Safety and emphasized the importance of teaching his students who will work in the field in the future to be sensitive about these issues and to approach the raw materials and additives to be used in production in terms of halalness and tayyib.
At the end of the seminar, students’ questions were answered. The program ended with thanksgiving and plaque presentation.
