It has been a bit of hope for us to see closely that the bonds of brotherhood between our Muslim brothers and sisters have been strengthened due to the tragic disaster we are experiencing these days.
As the GIMDES group, we gave instructions to all of our Halal Dunya Markets in the country to apply a discount to the aid that will go to the disaster area, due to the demands received from our citizens, after the aid activities we started in our Halal Dunya Markets in the earthquake zone.
The sons of the Islamic Ummah, who could not sleep full while their brother was hungry, started to exchange aid for our earthquake survivors from the branches of our Halal World Markets all over Türkiye in order to help our earthquake-stricken brothers in the disaster area. In order to deliver the shopping to the earthquake victims, we were faced with the demand of our customers to either take them to aid organizations or our markets to deliver these aids to the relevant authorities. Following these requests, the need to expand our aid activities arose. Both our online market and our local markets have started to actively carry out their activities related to the delivery of these aids in cooperation with the Red Crescent and AFAD, under the coordination of GIMDES.
It has been decided to continue our aid activities, which are carried out as one heart, together with our HDM branches all over Türkiye from now on. As a result of incoming requests and investigations, it has been determined that there is a need for hygiene kits such as noodles, food supplements, biscuits, bread, water, packaged foods, wet wipes, and baby diapers in the earthquake region. We present it to the information of those who are willing to help.
