World Halal Day, which has been celebrated with enthusiasm all over the world for 13 years with iftar organizations, seminars, competitions and various events, was celebrated with great excitement this year as well. With the aim of touching the hearts of all our oppressed and victimized Muslim brothers, we made 17 Ramadan World Halal Day more comprehensive with our events.
Organized by GIMDES and World Halal Foundation,
•A total of 5,000 people were organized for iftar in various provinces of Türkiye, Palestine and Syria.
•In Belgium, Turkish & English brochures explaining 17 Ramadan World Halal Day and gifts packaged together were distributed to Milli Görüş Hicret Mosque, Muslim school and shopkeepers around the school. Again, as part of World Halal Day, a festival will be held for primary school students on Saturday, March 22 at the Belgium Hayrat Foundation.
Halal Greece in Greece published congratulatory messages on its own website, social media accounts and the Voice of Thrace website for the Halal World Day.
The Halal Food & Quality of Islamic Center of La Vall in Spain:
•Brought 18 imams from Morocco for Ramadan to support the mukabele and Islamic education/talks in mosques in Spain.
•Organized Iftar programs in approximately 18 mosques.
•Dr. Said Ratbi, the head of the organization, gives sermons every evening before tarawih in mosques.
•Legal aid to all CISCOVA mosques in need throughout the year, including during Ramadan
•Collects financial aid for Gaza.
The South African National Halal Authority (SANHA) in South Africa provided information about World Halal Day on its weekly radio program called “Radio Islam.”
The Islamic Da’wah Council of the Philippines (IDCP) in the Philippines published a congratulatory message on its social media accounts for the Halal World Day, along with a text explaining the meaning and importance of the day.
The USA Halal Chamber of Commerce, Inc. Dba ISWA Halal Certification Department (ISWA HCD) in America sent a bulletin via e-mail explaining the meaning and importance of the day within the scope of Halal World Day.
