As in every Ramadan, we will celebrate the 17th day of this Ramadan as World Halal Food Day, ‘While genocide and savagery are taking place in GAZA, and various troubles are taking place in other Islamic lands, with a heavy heart. We can say that it is not a celebration to be held on the occasion of World Halal Food Day, but a program to “emphasize the importance of Halal Food, understand our situation as Muslims and remind us of what needs to be done.
When the BOYCOTT issue that GIMDES has been trying to explain since the day it was founded, the boycott of companies that supported and helped the zionist murderers during the Al-Aqsa Flood, came to the agenda, everything came to light that Muslims have been consuming products of Jewish or Jewish-loving companies along with haram and harmful products for years, and worse, they have gotten so used to it that they cannot give it up.
Here, we need to talk about all of these, remind them, take precautions and perhaps understand, explain and protect the importance of GIMDES halal certified products that have been put forward with great struggle for many years. With this understanding, we tried to organize iftar programs in Gaza, Syria (Aleppo, Idlib, Damascus), HDMs for the earthquake zone (Malatya, Gaziantep), Ankara and Istanbul on the occasion of the 17th Ramadan World Halal Food Day.
