Today, the greatest calamity facing Islam is not those who attempt to destroy it from the outside or attack it head-on, but rather those who seek to sever it from its essence from within. They camouflage their actions with slogans of reform, correction, and renewal.
For many years, enemies of Islam who aimed to nullify a significant source of our religion by rejecting the authentic hadiths of our Prophet (PBUH), which have reached us through reliable sources, have failed to achieve their goals. Now, they dare to claim that some verses of the Quran are fabricated or later additions. Recently, during a conversation with a graduate of a theology faculty, I was shocked to hear them defend these perverted ideas. Such poisoned young individuals also experience deviations and instability in their marital lives, straying far from Islamic principles.
After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, which upheld the understanding of the Islamic state as a unified entity, these enemies have intensified their activities across fragmented Islamic lands. Known as the movement of religious reform, this group propagates the notion that Islam has grown outdated and worn out over time and is no longer functional. They claim it needs to be saved by modernizing it and introducing innovations to make it suitable for the present day.
However, Islam is a religion revealed by Allah (SWT), the Creator of this universe, and promised to endure until the Day of Judgment. It is not an old, worn-out structure that requires support beams and reinforcements to stand upright.
This group consists of pitiful individuals whose souls have been poisoned and who unwittingly serve the interests of external enemies of Islam. They are inferiority-complexed, Western-obsessed individuals who are even willing to change their religion and are always ready to raise like-minded people.
