Mohamed Lafir Faslin, representative of Japan Halal Foundation (JHF), one of the members of the World Halal Council (WHC), visited GIMDES.
During the meeting, our brother Faslin drew attention to GIMDES’s pioneering role in global halal certification and sectoral services, and stated that GIMDES has undertaken exemplary work worldwide. Mr. Faslin also emphasized that there are many important issues that JHF can learn from GIMDES.
The visit was considered an important step in terms of developing international halal certification and cooperation studies. The meeting ended with the signing of a mutual cooperation agreement and the exchange of gifts.
