“Oh Christians, Muslims will be the last to bury your dead.” (Der Spigel in the 1980s). It was published like this. He had also interviewed us at that time. We had published our article titled “CAN’T AN ISLAMIC STATE BE ESTABLISHED IN EUROPE?” as a counterpoint to these.
We had published this article in HİCRET MAGAZINE under the roof of Milli Görüş in the years 1981-1984 when we were in Germany, and we had presented it to our readers on our website HAYATIN İÇDEN in 2011 after returning to Turkey.
While continuing my education at İTÜ, I got to know Germany since the 1960s thanks to the internships we had to do. During those years, I also got to know the people of my country who had just come to work.
In the following years, relations continued on various occasions, Yükseliş Engineering and Architecture College, Ministry of Industry and Technology, GIMDES and we came to the present day. After the first generation I met, the second generation came, and today our meetings with the third generation continue. My thought that there must have been a reason for Muslims coming to European countries, especially Germany, in the 1960s to work and study grew even more.
Today I want to share with you: I will inform you about a study that will confirm the title of my article. The third generation I met during my search for Halal Lokma increased my hope even more. Despite all the obstacles made by the host institutions to prevent Muslims from eating Halal Lokma, the studies continue at full speed. They provide information to Muslims by inspecting the companies that sell Halal meat with a website they established. They are planning to support the popularization of these products by bringing GIMDES certified products from Turkey and distributing them to other markets via online system. They have prepared and are publishing 49 videos to introduce and explain the work of GIMDES.
