Praise be to our Lord, who has brought us to these blessed days, as many as the number of His creatures. We congratulate you and the entire Islamic Ummah on Eid al-Adha and pray to God that it will be a blessing. Holidays are the days when resentments are forgotten, people make peace and embrace each other as brothers. Holidays are the days when the consciousness of being a nation is shaped and strengthened in a society where national and religious feelings, beliefs, customs and traditions are practiced.
May Almighty Allah, who has power over everything, keep us from the right path and our loved ones!
On this blessed Eid al-Adha, may the Almighty Allah (SWT), the creator of the universe and the Lord of the worlds, the forgiving and merciful, accept all your prayers.
Let’s not sacrifice our joy and happiness of sacrificing as a family, which is one of the important dynamics of our formation as a Muslim society, for our “Hedonism”, which is a western imported product for our comfort. Our brothers who are obliged to sacrifice animals should not be inclined to delegate their obligations to others. In this way, large and small associations, foundations, companies, and even supermarket chains are literally competing. Some people try to attract people with the cheap price of the sacrificed animal, while others promise 5 kg of meat delivered home on the first day.
I wonder which of them is sincere and which one actually delivers the sacrifice of the Muslim he entrusted to his care? Are these associations, foundations and merchants devoting themselves so much to the sacrifice business for the sake of God’s sake and as a service to Muslims, or are they trying to raise an important interest? Which one is sincere and which one is not. Frankly, it would be very naive to entrust the victim without researching this and gaining full confidence. Owners of these sacrifices should know that if the sacrifices are never sacrificed in the places where they have given power of attorney or if their conditions are not complied with, they will be considered as having not fulfilled their obligations of sacrifice.
There has also been a big scandal going on in our country for years. Huge supermarket chains, which sell various alcoholic beverages and some pork and products made from pork, sell sacrificial animals to Muslims every day of the year, including Eid days. We can’t say anything to those who sell it. Even though we are Muslim subjects, we are condemned to a secular state administration, but a Muslim cannot be secular. If so, he cannot be a Muslim. If he is a true Muslim, it is important for his benefit not to shop at a place that sells alcohol. Therefore, it should be important for his own benefit that he not entrust his victim to these institutions.
Our Children Are Being Sacrificed!
Today, those responsible for perverted relationships that spread like a cancer from every branch and trap our children through social media, visual and written media, advertisements, movies, songs and various other means pose a great danger to all Muslims. We have to protect our children. We are responsible for everything from their circle of friends to the school they attend, what they watch and read, what they eat and drink, what they wear, and even the toys we give them. We must raise our children in accordance with God’s commands and prohibitions and make them aware of the current dangers.
“Why do you ˹men˺ lust after fellow men, leaving the wives that your Lord has created for you? In fact, you are a transgressing people.” (Surah ash-Shu’ara, Ayat 165-166)
This activity, which is called LGBT+ by perverted organizations in countries, is known to be haram and illegitimate all over the world. In order to legitimize this attitude, denier individuals and institutions are trying to create some so-called intellectual foundations and make LGBT+ seem extremely widespread and legitimate. According to its advocates, it is a requirement of natural diversity and should be respected. However, the reality regarding LGBT+ is much different. Atheism, enmity towards Allah, and denial of Allah (SWT) are their most important characteristics. They wage their most important struggles on this issue. Homosexuality, which was a perversion specific to the people of Lot in the time of Prophet Abraham (pbuh), is today wanted to be spread all over the world. Therefore, the struggles to prevent all perversions and put an end to such propaganda are a matter of faith and vital importance for those who believe in Allah (SWT).
