Dr. Hüseyin Kâmi BÜYÜKÖZER
Today, I would like to talk about Ismail Haniye, one of the Gaza commanders, one of the very few exemplary leaders, and the owner of 60 years full of student movements, refugee camps, assassinations, jihad and struggle, to our Muslim youth who consider themselves to be called Islamist youth.
When he received the news of the martyrdom (shahadah) of his three children and 4 grandchildren: “If the enemy thinks that we will change our stance by killing my sons, he is mistaken. The blood of my sons is not more valuable than the blood of our martyrs in Gaza, because they are all my children. The blood of my sons was sacrificed for the liberation of Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa. “We will not hesitate, we will not retreat, we will continue on our way to liberate Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa.” Ismail Haniye is one of the figures that today’s Muslim youth can take as an example.
Ismail Haniye’s struggle began from the moment he opened his eyes to the world. Because he was born in 1963 in the Al-Shatti refugee camp in Gaza. Being born in a refugee camp meant spending your childhood and youth in a place where the zionist occupation, poverty and harsh conditions of life were felt most severely.
Known for her calmness and dignity since her young age, Haniye took an active role in many movements such as the Muslim Students Association and the Gaza Islamic University Student Council, thanks to the Muslim Brotherhood movement, which she met during her high school years. He was a member and manager of Hamas’ student movements.
Martyr Hasan al-Banna said, “We have wasted a lot of time with orators who know nothing but words. He devoted every moment of his life to struggle and jihad, as he said: “Now is the time for work and jihad.”
Finally, let us never forget the words that the murderer zionist israel said after his 3 sons and 4 grandchildren who were martyred within a week, from which we will take a lesson.
“If the enemy thinks that we will change our stance by killing my sons, he is mistaken. The blood of my sons is not more valuable than the blood of our martyrs in Gaza, because they are all my children. The blood of my sons was sacrificed for the liberation of Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa. “We will not hesitate, we will not retreat, we will continue on our way to liberate Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa.”
