Dr. Hüseyin Kami BÜYÜKÖZER
GİMDES participated in the conferences of Malaysia Halal Certification and Standards Authority (JAKIM), with which it cooperates, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2012, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
This year, the Global Halal Summit (GHaS), organized by JAKIM in cooperation with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), is held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between 9-15 September. GHaS 2023 is organized to strengthen the potential network between halal certification institutions recognized by JAKIM, to establish stronger connections between institutions and to pave the way for cooperation.
Mr. M. Z. Gedikli, GIMDES Foreign Relations Coordinator and World Halal Council Chairman of the Board, attended the Global Halal Summit (GHaS) on behalf of GIMDES. M. Z. GEDİKLİ, who came to visit GIMDES before participating in the summit, consulted with the President of GIMDES on the issues to be addressed at the summit.
As a result of the meeting:
-Daru’l Helal Madrasa, which will start its education activities in October,
-Topics to be discussed at the 19th Annual General Assembly Meeting of the World Halal Council, which will be held on 11, 12, 13 November
– It was decided to inform the summit participants about the 15th International Halal and Tayyib Products Conference, which will be published online on November 9-10, organized by GIMDES.
We pray to Allah Almighty that useful decisions for the Ummah of Muhammad will be taken and implemented in the most beneficial way in the programs to be organized.
