We are in the last ten days of Ramadan, which the Laylat’ul Qadr is hidden among one of them. The shadow of this blessed night, which is more Khairful than 1000 months, is over us.
As we come close to the end of month Ramadan which is blessed with Rahmah and Barakah, we welcome Laylatul Qadr with its all Rahmah, which is the night that the Holy Qur’an was started to be sent down, the Prophet (SAW) was given the first revelation and prophetic duty and prayers are more acceptable and favorable than the other days and nights. We pray Allah-u Teala to make our Laylatul Qadr, which is the most blessed night of Ramadan, and Ramadan Eid khair for us, a way of worldwide salvation from coronavirus and the happiness for all the Islamic world.
“Indeed, ˹it is˺ We ˹Who˺ sent this ˹Quran˺ down on the Night of Qadr. And what will make you realize what the Night of Qadr is? The Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months. That night the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit1 descend, by the permission of their Lord, for every ˹decreed˺ matter. It is all peace until the break of dawn.” (Surah Al-Qadr, 1-5)
It is a gift of Allah (SWT) to all humanity. It’s like a divine race. The winners of this race are those with the “feature”! Those who have an iota of goodness “done for the Lord” in their hearts!
Otherwise, the angels descending to the earth like raindrops will “pass” your house (your heart)! It is necessary to call the angels to attract mercy! Come on, present yourself to your Lord, be a candidate!

Why is it called “Night of Qadr”?
Since it is so very precious… The word Qadr, which means “no matter how much you imagine, you can’t know its value” is mentioned 3 times in the surah… A second reason why it is called Qadr is that it comes from Qadar (destiny). Tonight, the annual sustenance, happiness and guidance of all servants are decided.
Such a night that fates are written tonight! How would you like your destiny to be written?
You want your plenty of Rizq (provision), you want all the beauties/ good things to be yours, but are you spending your night in heedlessness? By sleeping, or snuggling on social media, playing games or strolling through the malls, etc.?
Work! Make an effort! Maybe you won’t be able to reach to the last 10 days next year, maybe this is the last chance!
Put everything aside!
Say: I will deserve heaven tonight!
I will be one of those who are freed from hell tonight!
After tonight, I’ll be another person!
Tonight is the gift of our Lord to people!
If you catch Laylat al Qadr, look what will happen:
1- To be better than a thousand months: You will gain treasures, you will make a life worth a thousand lives!
2- Your past will be completely erased: It’s like you were born new!
3- Your prayers will be accepted: Angels will say amen to your prayers! We need to pray a lot tonight… Our elders have always done that.
4- Salvation from fire.
“Oh Allah certainly You are most Forgiving, You love to forgive, So forgive me” (Saheeh at-Tirmidhi, no. 3513)
We know that You are forgiving, you love to forgive. Forgive us, as the Ummah, for the sake of tonight, for the sake of our beloved Messenger (saas), who brought us the good news of salvation from Hell. Bring us back to our Halal and Tayyib life system…
