RAMADAN MUBARAK

Dr. Hüseyin Kami BÜYÜKÖZER,

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has once again given us the opportunity of being closer to Him during this blessed month of Ramadan. As we commence this holy month, we wish every one of you the most blessed and spiritually elevating month. May Allah(s.w.t) give us the strength to start this Ramadan in the most positive way. We must take this opportunity to do lots of good deeds to please the Almighty. We must not forget that we should keep calm during the month of Ramadan, try to concentrate only on worshipping Allah(s.w.t) and doing good deeds. Let’s not change ourselves only for the month of Ramadan, but reform ourselves to devote for Allah(s.w.t) till the death comes.

May Allah(s.w.t) bring lots of happiness and blessings in your lives during this blessed month of Ramadan and grace your home with happiness and peace. May all your good deeds, prayers and devotions get acceptance by Allah(s.w.t) Almighty during this blessed month of Ramadan. May this Ramadan be the best one yet for all of us.

Al-Baqarah 2:185

“Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard to distinguish between right and wrong. So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then let them fast an equal number of days after Ramaḍân. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.”

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

ِﻪِﺒْﻧَﺫ ْﻦِﻣ َﻡَّﺪَﻘَﺗ ﺎَﻣ ُﻪَﻟ َﺮِﻔُﻏ ﺎًﺑﺎَﺴِﺘْﺣﺍَﻭ ﺎًﻧﺎَﻤﻳِﺇ ِﺭْﺪَﻘْﻟﺍ َﺔَﻠْﻴَﻟ َﻡﺎَﻗ ْﻦَﻣَﻭ ِﻪِﺒْﻧَﺫ ْﻦِﻣ َﻡَّﺪَﻘَﺗ ﺎَﻣ ُﻪَﻟ َﺮِﻔُﻏ ﺎًﺑﺎَﺴِﺘْﺣﺍَﻭ ﺎًﻧﺎَﻤﻳِﺇ َﻥﺎَﻀَﻣَﺭ َﻡﺎَﺻ ْﻦَﻣ

Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
