Indian businessman Syed Fazlur Rahman and his doctor friend visited GIMDES.
Mr. Syed Fazlur, who is a distributor in India, started his speech by explaining that he participated in the 6th International Halal and Tayyib Products Conference, the 4th Halal and Tayyib Products Fair and he talked to the manufacturers who attended to the fair organized by GIMDES in 2013 and benefited a lot. He said that after that date, he realized that there was a great need for production in the field of Halal and Tayyib, and that he attended the 11th International Halal and Tayyib Products Conference held at CNR Expo in 2019 before the Corona epidemic and he came to visit GIMDES at the first opportunity after the pandemic. We thank him for his heartfelt devotion and sensitivity to Halal Morsel.
He stated that he wanted to get information from GIMDES and open Online Halal World Markets because he wanted to make production in the field of additives in New Delhi for the spread of Halal and Tayyib food. Consultation was held on the subject. He was presented with a document stating the compliance of the additives used according to the sectors with the GIMDES standards and the critical control points. Information was given about the operation system of Halal Dunya Markets online branch. It was mentioned that every step to be taken for Muslims to reach Halal and Tayyib food more easily is very important.
GIMDES President Dr. Hüseyin Kâmi Büyüközer said to Mr. Syed Fazlur, an Indian businessman who is also keen on Halal gelatine production, “Every particle of this substance, which is produced from the skin and intestines of animals, must be Halal and Tayyib. We searched all over the world, but we could not find any producer that produces fully Halal.” He said, and as a fraternal recommendation, he suggested that he work on the production of other additives.
Mentioning the difficulties faced by Muslim consumers in their search for halal certified products, it was emphasized that we need to provide them with this service in a better way.
At the end of the meeting, Başakşehir Halal Dunya Market was visited as an example for the market project to be set up in India.
The meeting was ended with the presentation of gifts to our visitors and the next meeting appointment.
