One of our blessed nights is the Night of Miraj. Miraj is an ascension, it is a progression from all mean feelings and human emotions to a pure servitude, to the highest level. It is an unlimited horizon of progress opened before humanity in the person of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh).
This sublime journey is the greatest of miracles. The miracle of Miraj was described in verses in the Holy Qur’an and its existence has been revealed in an undeniable way. The first stage of this divine journey, the stage up to the Masjid al-Aqsa, is described in the Qur’an:
“Exalted is He who took His Servant Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.” (Surah Isra, 1)
The second stage of Miraj is starting from Masjid al-Aqsa and passing through all layers of the sky and reaching the Divine Presence. This phase is also described in Surah An-Najm as follows:
“While he was at the highest horizon, then he came near and descended, so as he was at a distance between two bows (joined together), rather even nearer. Thus He (Allah) revealed to His slave what He revealed. The heart did not err in what he saw. Do you quarrel with him in what he sees? And indeed, he saw him another time, by sidrat-ul-muntaha (the lote-tree in the upper realm), near which there is Jannat-ul-ma’wa (the Paradise of Abode), when the lots-tree was covered by that which covered it. The eye neither went wrong, nor did exceed the limit. He has indeed seen a part of the biggest signs of your Lord.” (Surah An-Najm, 7-18)
“Their prayer therein will be, “Pure are You, Allah” and their greeting therein will be “Sal-am.” And the end of their call will be, “praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.” (Surah Yunus, 10)
“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” (Surah Ali Imran, 8)
“My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord and accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.” (Surah Ibrahim 40-41)
“O Allah, show mercy and greetings to our Master Muhammad (pbuh), his descendants, Companions and brothers, which will be pleasing to you and his due. Keep us and our religion safe. Accept our prayers, O Lord of the worlds! ”
“O Allah! We ask You to love You, to love those who love You, and to love the deeds that will lead to Your love.
my god! Make your love further to us than our life, our family, and cold water!”
For the Honor of Our Lord Alaihissalatu Wassalam:
Forgive our sins!
Accept our prayers with goodness, accept our repentance!
Ethics us with the morals of our Master!
May Allah, Muhabbatullah, Muhabbah Rasulullah (peace be upon him), bestow upon us the consciousness of bestowal, the consciousness of service, the consciousness of companions, the consciousness of ihlas!
