We read many calamities happened to various societies in history by a Hikmah (حكمة) in our Holy Qur’an. The important thing is to take lessons from these calamities and shape ourselves up. We should remember that a good scare is worth more than good advice. Maybe we have not taken the good advice of Qur’an and Allah sent us this corona virus evil.
“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,” (Surah al-Baqarah, 155)
Sometimes Allah (SWT) provides people welfare and prosperity and they live in peace and forget their Creator. Then sometimes Allah sends different kinds of warnings to awaken them. Could this be anything but a global calamity?
