Ramadan: The Month of Mercy

Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters, hoping that peace and hope will be with all of you!

The month of Ramadan is, without a doubt, the month of mercy.

Let us decide to take maximum advantage of this opportunity in order to increase our material and spiritual life, to change our wrong habits.

The Prophet said, “O you people! A great and blessed month has arrived for you. A month in which there is a night which is better than one thousand months. Fasting during this month is an obligation, and the extra prayers during its nights are voluntary. Anyone who comes closer to Allah through a good deed during this month is as if he performed an obligatory duty during times other than Ramadan, and he who fulfils an obligatory duty in it will be like one who fulfils seventy obligatory duties in another month. It is the month of patience, and the reward of patience is Paradise.

This is a month, the first part of which brings Allah’s mercy, the middle of which brings His forgiveness and the last part of which brings emancipation from the fire of Jahannum (Hell). Whosoever lessens the burden of his servants (bondsmen) in this month, Allāh will forgive him and free him from the fire of Jahannam.”

Let’s try to pay more attention to consume Halal and Tayyib foods, medicines, cosmetic products, specially in this holy month. “Are those who know equal to those who do not know? We should change our manner in shopping when we buy from markets, butchers and bakeries.

How much we need duaa today as the Ummah! There is blood on the Islamic world, there is tears, there is sadness. Persecutors, day and night, to elderly, to women, to babies to all Muslims. Its time to stnd up and struggle with all our power to save the rights of Muslims
