GIMDES R & D coordinator Dr. Majed ALHARİRİ went to Singapore for attending the specialty packaging film Asia conference in Singapore.
About 24 speakers made their presentations about packaging from the biggest packaging producer all over the world. The presentation of Dr. ALHARİRİ was about halal critical control points in food packaging. Attendance showed interaction with the presentation, and they showed pleased impression about Halal importance.
During that event, Dr. Majed ALHARIRI made a visit to MUIS (Islamic Religious Council of Singapore). He met with Mr. Munir Hussaian (Manager of Process Management and Halal Development) and Mr. Abdul Rahman Lum (Senior executive of Process Management and Halal Development) in MUIS office. They discussed about the ways to improve the cooperation between the two associations.
