GIMDES visits Malaysia…
11 th MIHAS Exhibition will be held between 9-12 April 2014. 500 domestic and overseas companies from 53 countries will be participating in this exhibition.
The global halal market is increasing. The halal food market is currently worth 16% of the entire global food industry and could account for 20% of world trade in food products in the future.
Apparently, an increased number of consumers asks for food products that comply with Islamic law, like food products that do not contain pork or that contain ritually slaughtered meat. It estimates the total number of Muslims worldwide at 2 billion heads, representing 25% of an estimated 2010 world population of 6.9 billion.
An executive member from GIMDES will also be in Malaysia to attend the MIHAS Show. Visits to companies certified by GIMDES as well as meetings with top management of JAKIM will be conducted. He will also participate Executive Meeting of WHC.
5th Halal and Tayyib Expo, Istanbul, another important event of the Halal Industry will be organized by GIMDES between 4-7 September 2014. When it started in 2010 for the first time, this event was a tiny one. Thanks to Support from the Halal Industry, Istanbul Halal and Tayyib Expo has already become the major event and will grow further as Istanbul is the ideal place for meeting especially for Middle East and Eurasia. GIMDES will be delighted to see visitors and participants from all over the World.
