Halal and Tayyib Products Conference will be held in Istanbul on 6 September 2014. Invitations to speakers who are very experienced in their fields have already been sent out and most of them have been accepted. The topics that will be discussed during the conference are as follows:

- The implications of emerging ingredients and processing practices to the Halalness of food, cosmetics and medicine.
- Effects of GMO and transgenic products on health. Can GMO products be Halal certified?
